Short tour summary

Travel with us on a 4-day cruise through China’s famous Three Gorges along the mighty Yangtze River. Departing from Chongqing, we’ll travel east to Yichang through a landscape filled with beautiful nature and cultural highlights.

First we’ll pass through the Qutang Gorge, where you will see high mountain peaks over the river’s narrow passage. Next is Wu Gorge, known for its forest-covered mountains and mysterious fog. Along the way we’ll see steep cliffs and forested slopes with ancient cultural buildings and historic towns. Of course you will also see the massive hydroelectric dams. In this way, you will experience both engineering highlights and natural tranquility.

Day by day schedule:

Day 1: Chongqing Night View

Between 18:00-20:30, you will board the cruise ship docked at Chongqing Port. The ship will then set sail into the magnificent Three Gorges scenic area. Here, you can admire the night view of Chongqing and the grand scenery of the Yangtze River.

Day 2: Three Gorge Travel(B/L/D)

In the early morning, you can enjoy morning tea, coffee, and snacks on the cruise ship. You can also experience learning Tai Chi. Afterwards, the cruise ship will dock, allowing you to get off the boat and visit Shuanggui Mountain in Fengdu. Here, you will witness ancient and mysterious rock statues, and you can choose to visit the Ghost City of Fengdu. After dinner, you will join the captain’s welcome party :).

Day 3: Three Gorge Travel(B/L/D)

In the morning, the cruise ship will pass through the Qutang Gorge and Wuxia Gorge. The Qutang Gorge is located in Yunyang County, Chongqing City. The steep mountains, narrow river channel, and turbulent water flow here are known as the “First Gorge of the Yangtze River.” Wuxia Gorge is located in Wushan County, Hubei Province, and is the downstream section of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.

After enjoying lunch, we will transfer to a small boat to visit Goddess Stream. On this relaxed boat ride, you will admire the spectacular gorge, clear streams, and abundant vegetation. The captain will (again) host the dinner with a fantastic crew performance.

Day 4: Arrival at Yichang and Disembarkation(B)

After breakfast, we will get off the boat and visit the Three Gorges Dam in Yichang City, Hubei Province. With a length of 2.3 kilometers and a height of 185 meters, it is one of the world’s largest hydropower projects. At noon, we will arrive at Yichang Port.

All passengers will disembark and take a bus or car to Yichang Three Gorges Tourist Center, marking the end of the trip! We will make sure you can safely travel to your next destination from here.
