The staff is very professional and supported me in every phase of the trip, from the permit's documents to the flights purchase, and had been very quick at replying all my questions about the place, the weather and the organization. The tour guides are very thoughtful and did their best to please all our requests. The trip was very well organized in terms of schedule, places to visit and facilities: everyday the trip got better and better till the final climax in Namtso lake, which I absolutely loved! I would recommend this service to everyone who wants to visit Tibet, especially if it's the first time!

I was satisfied with the trip. Everything was organised well with a very knowledgeable local guide. The driver too was experienced and brought us safely to each destination. The sites visited were very beautiful in their own right. The hotels chosen were good with comfortable rooms. The local Tibetans are so friendly.

Nepalian tour guide Mr.Chandra was very helpful and patient and shared with us a lot of information about Nepalian culture and religion . I'd like to recount my incredible experience. It was truly extraordinary, and this is not solely attributed to the awe-inspiring nature, rich culture, warm-hearted people, and breathtaking scenery of Tibet. Equally significant was the role played by Tenzen. He played a pivotal role in making this journey unforgettable for all of us. Tenzen took meticulous care of every detail, particularly our well-being, exhibited excellent organizational skills, and, most importantly, fostered strong bonds among our group members. As a result, bidding farewell to each other at the trip's end was an emotionally challenging task. Without a doubt, Tenzen's influence was the driving force behind this cohesion and sentiment. Joined the group to Xinjiang as a senior female solo traveler. The trip was amazing! The region is full of a history that you wouldn’t exactly expect in the inland regions of China. Our great tour guide in Kashgar, Lyok, was very knowledgeable about the local history and provided the opportunity of immersion. Our guide in Urumqi, AJ, also local, gave us a full perspective of a very different area in the same Province. Very interesting and well-rounded tour. I must say, though, that as a senior there were times when it got difficult to follow, as it had snowed and paths and stairs were icey and therefore slippery, so I decided not to climb and still enjoyed the incredible view from ground level. High altitude in the mountains, but if you have no health issues that would prevent you from spending a night in the mountains, it is totally worth it. I simply cannot put into words the marvelous and diverse sceneries I brought back in photos, but mostly in my mind, as unforgettable experiences!

Very good English speaker, helpful, patient, caring, always in a good mood, professional in informing and answering our numerous questions about Tibet and Buddhism. And when we thought it was impossible, he made our wishes come true. 3. Many thanks to all members of our group (14 participants), which was very diverse (USA, France, England, Hawaii, China, Malaysia and Croatia). The memories of our time together will stay in our hearts forever. I would truly recommend this unforgettable trip to anyone as it is a once in a lifetime experience. We had a great experience with YellowBird. We travelled to Zhangjiajie 张家界 (the avatar mountains). We completed the 3 day tour, unfortunately I got sick on the first night but I tried to continue the tour, however this was not possible for the first day. Our tour guide LJ was very supportive, and helped me to get off the mountains and back to the hotel to rest. Later he helped my friend to get me some medicine. He was very informative of the area. He was also friendly and easy to talk to. Luckily after recovering quickly I will able to finish the rest of the tour. I would definitely book with this company again in the future.

Took a private tour with Yellowbirdtour to Datong, Shanxi Province, China during Mayday holiday 2023. Penny is an excellent tour organizer, she came up with the quick response and feedback, the program is covered the whole famous tourist spots in Datong. Before tour, she sent us the preparation list and tour guide contact number. The tour guide - May Leng, is a wonderful girl, she helped us to arrange ticket and explained us the history of each place. She is a professional tour-guide with sound knowledge of Datong's city. Driver is a local young guy, he drove well and introduced us many interesting places to go after tour. Love them all!

The trip is wonderful. Penny is a superb organizer. She arranged the program up to our needs.The tour guide, May, is very experienced,. She provided us details of each scenic spots, and also recommended us good places which we can go by ourselves during free time. Moreover, she helped us to switch the itinerary, so we can avoid crowded people during May Day Holiday. Love it! The driver is also excellent. Apart from driving skills, he took good care of the care, it’s very clean. This is the second time that I traveled with Experience Tibet and believe that will have many more in the future. The volunteer experience in the base was great. The company recommended us the Dujiangyan base which is smaller but not overcrowded. You take care of panda’s pens and then help prepare the food. The tour guide‘s English was perfect. Everything was explained and I enjoyed it very much. Secret tip: ask the tour guide for Echo‘s teahouse. 😉 This is my 3rd trip with Yllowbirdtour and I just love them. I used Yellowbird tour to book the 8 day tour of Nepal. It was fabulous. The tour was jam-packed with really interesting activities, which were all very different. Kathmandu was beautiful and we were taken to some lovely temples and areas. We went to Chitwan which, again, was fabulous. Waking up on Christmas Day and seeing a rhino in the river outside the hotel was a magical surprise! Pokhara was beautiful and the mountains were absolutely stunning. Our guide, Ghana, was wonderful. His upbeat personality really made us smile and laugh and his knowledge of the country was excellent. Our driver was awesome and kept us safe on the bumpy roads. This is my 3rd trip with Yllowbirdtour and I just love them. They are the most professional and helpful tour company I have even used and I highly highly highly recommend them! The agency organized our Vietnam trip. From North (Hanoi) to South (Ho Chi Min) we can say that everything was spectacular. The pre-departure information, the transport, the guides the itinerary. We will trust our next trips to them. Amazing experience!!!!!

I had an amazing solo weekend-stay with a great guide who gave me the best information about Chinese history and culture. From picking me up at the airport til departure: everything was perfectly organized - gladly again. Visiting the Panda Park, getting to know Chengdu and going to Leshan to see the Giant Buddha is an absolutely amazing experience with this company and guides.

I travelled to Gansu Province during 19-22 September 2023, it was great and it was my first time to go to the desert. I visited the historic places along the Silk Road such as Echoing Sand Mountain, The Crescent Lake, Mogao Grottoes, Jia Yu Guan Great Wall, The Danxia Mountain and Mati Temple. I am very happy to join with the Experience Tibet, because at the very beginning, I planed to travel by myself, it is hard to manage the time because every places I visited spending a few hours to get to. So, I don't think I have enough time for complete all places within a few days. Travelling with Yellowbirdtour is the good choice for me. Moreover, the guides are very professional and good services. The hotels during my travelling were very nice and safe. Moreover, the number of the people in one group is not so many (9 people during my travelling) , it made us very convenient and flexible about the time, not too rush. Very impressive. I am looking forward to travelling many places in China in the nearest future.

I booked a private tour from the nice guys at Yellow Bird just for me in order to discover the best of Chengdu and the surrounding area during my weekend-stay in the city and the experience was truly amazing. My personal guide Audrey picked me up at the airport and I had to worry about absolutely nothing ever since. On the first day we went to Leshan to see the Giant Buddha (both from the river side during a boat tour and from the temple nearby) and had some nice typical Szechuan dishes afterwards. In the evening I went to a Chinese opera and enjoyed a great show. Audrey organized everything just perfectly. The next day we first visited the Panda Base where again it was very helpful to have someone by my side who knew where to go (first) and where to have to best views. Later we had a delicious Szechuan themed lunch, visited an authentic tea house as well as a Taoist temple. During the whole stay Audrey provided me with a lot information about Chinese history and culture, plus really we laughed a lot and she never got tired of me taking a million photos or buying presents for my kids back at home. All in all I had a great time and cannot recommend Yellow Bird enough. So if you are planning a tour to Chengdu make sure to reach out to them and see if they have any tour guide available for you or the group you are traveling with.
