Day 1: Arrival in Ulaanbaatar (L/D)
– Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, transfer to the hotel.
– City tour: Chinggis Khaan Square, Parliament House, Bogd Khan Winter Palace, Sukhbaatar Square.
– Enjoy a traditional Mongolian dance and music performance.
Overnight at the hotel
Day 2: Kharkhorin (B/L/D)
– Breakfast, then drive to Kharkhorin, the former imperial capital.
– Visit the scenic Gobi Desert en route.
– Check into a tourist resort and visit the Kharkhorin Museum.
– Dinner featuring Mongolian stone-grilled lamb.
Overnight in traditional ger camps
Day 3: Erdene Zuu Monastery and Lake Ugii (B/L/D)
– Visit Erdene Zuu, Mongolia’s oldest and largest Lamaist monastery.
– Explore the monastery’s rich history and cultural relics.
– After lunch, head to Lake Ugii (100 km).
– Visit Hushuu Tsaidam Turkish Ancestor Museum along the way.
Overnight in traditional ger camps
Day 4: Khustain National Park (B/L/D)
– Breakfast, then drive to Khustain National Park (250 km).
– Visit the wild horse herds and learn about conservation efforts.
– Continue to a nomadic village resort (55 km).
Overnight in traditional ger camps
Day 5: Nomadic Lifestyle Experience (B/L/D)
– Participate in traditional Mongolian customs and lifestyle activities.
– Dress in traditional attire, learn archery, and witness daily activities.
– Return to Ulaanbaatar (55 km) after a cultural immersion.

Day 6: Terelj National Park (B/L/D)
– City sightseeing: National Museum of Mongolian History, Gandantegchinlen Monastery.
– Visit the Chinggis Khaan Statue Complex (60 km east).
– Explore Terej National Park in the Kent Mountains (30 km).
– Experience nomadic hospitality and optional horseback riding.
Overnight in traditional ger camps
Day 7: Return to Ulaanbaatar (B/L/D)
– Return to Ulaanbaatar (80 km) after breakfast.
– Explore commercial streets: National Department Store and cashmere shops.

– Breakfast and some free time before transferring to Chinggis Khaan International Airport for departure (breakfast included).

Dawei is a Tibetan Buddhist, and comes from the most north edge of the Tibetan plateau in Qinghai province, Western China. He has travelled as a tour leader to many South Asian countries such as India, Bhutan and also nearly the entire country of China. He focuse especially on guiding in Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan, Ningxia provinces and Tibetan regions. The activities of these various tour groups have included adopting family, horse racing, hiking, bird watching, cycling, camping, overseas students, cultural and religious sightseeing.

Andrew was born and grew up in a small village of Zhangjiajie, Hunan. From 2009-2012 he works for royal Caribbean International cruise as an onboard guest services officer. After that, he dedicates his life/time to guiding and operating tours in Zhangjiajie and around. As a native person, he knows all the corner of the scenic area, such as good restaurants, souvenir shops and cultures.
