Experience the best of Yunnan on this 7-day tour through Dali, Lijiang, and Shangri-La. Wander the cobbled streets of Dali Old Town, cruise on the beautiful Erhai Lake, and visit the ancient Three Pagodas.
Continue to the UNESCO-listed Lijiang Old Town, where charming canals and Naxi culture await. Marvel at the snow-capped peaks of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and explore the dramatic landscapes of Tiger Leaping Gorge—one of the world’s deepest canyons.
Your journey concludes in the Tibetan heartland of Shangri-La. Visit peaceful Songzanlin Monastery, stroll through traditional Tibetan villages, and walk across meadows home to yaks and wildflowers.

Day 1: Dali Arrival
Airport pickup service, transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Dali Ancient Town, Xizhou, Three-course Tea of Bai People, Zhoucheng, Tye-Dyeing, Erhai Lake Drive
In the morning, our guide will lead you to explore Dali Ancient Town. After, drive 20km to Xizhou, join the Three-course Tea Ceremony, it is most popular among Bai people which is served for distinguished guests. Continue to drive to Zhoucheng, various traditional customs are well preserved here. Visit a local Tie Dye Workshop, learn and make one by yourself. After, take the eco-friendly car to drive around and enjoy Erhai Lake.
Day 3: Dali to Shangrila: Pudacuo Park, Dukuzong Ancient Town, Guishan Park 350km/4.5hrs
After breakfast, drive to Pudacuo Park, it is famous for well-preserved landscape, there are beautiful lakes, primitive forests, vast meadows, streams and more. Later, arrive at Shangrila, visit Dukuzong Ancient Town, and Guishan Park with the world biggest prayer wheel. Climb up to the temple on the top, enjoy the panoramic view of the city. At night, you can join locals dancing in the square.
Day 4: Songzanlin Monastery & Shangrila to Tiger Leaping Gorge to Half Way
Drive to Songzanlin Monastery to see the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, the castle like complex is also known as Little Potala Palace, experience the mystery and traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Later, drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world, visit Upper Gorge, enjoy the 2.6-kilometer along Jinsha River and the stone trail. After, drive to half way to stay overnight.
Day 5: Half Way Hike to Tina's & Drive to Lijiang Ancient Town 90km/2hrs
Hike from Half Way to Tina’s takes around 3 hours. Enjoy views of the towering snow-capped mountains, and embrace the small waterfall through the village and up a winding path. After that, take the vechile to drive to Lijiang.
Day 6: Lijiang: Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Glacier Park, Blue Moon Valley, Yuhu Village, Joseph Rock Former Residence
After breakfast, drive to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, take 25 minutes’ cableway to Glacier Park, you will see the vegetations changes with ascending altitude. Walk along the plank road to reach 4680m and appreciate the fairyland with ice and snow. Take cableway down, drive to visit Blue Moon Valley with turquoise-colored water. Afterwards, drive to Yuhu Village, enjoy its unique architecture and culture seen nowhere else. The national geographic explorer-Joseph Rock stayed here over 20 years, visit the museum which was turned by his former residence.
Day 7: Lijiang Departure
Transfer to airport, tour finishes.
