Day 2: Siem Reap Exploration and Apsara Dancing Show

After you have breakfast at your hotel, get ready for an exciting day visiting the old temples around Siem Reap. First, you’ll go to Banteay Kdei temple. It’s a peaceful place that shows Buddhist designs. Then, you’ll see Ta Prohm temple, where big tree roots grow over the ruins, making it look like something from a storybook.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit the big temple city called Angkor Thom. Inside, there are many temples, but you’ll see a few special ones like Bayon with its many stone faces, Baphuon, the Terrace of the Leper King, the Royal Palace, and Victory Gate. You’ll get to explore three of these cool spots. After that, you’ll go to Preah Khan temple, built for a king’s father and full of beautiful carvings. Then, see Banteay Srei temple, known for its amazing details.

To end the day, you’ll ride in a tuk-tuk, which is a fun, open-air taxi, to watch an Apsara Dancing Show. This show has dancers in amazing costumes, telling stories with their moves. You’ll also enjoy a buffet dinner while watching.

Day 3: Angkor Wat Sunrise, Banteay Srei, and Tonle Sap Lake

Begin your morning early to catch the stunning sunrise at Angkor Wat. After the sunrise, head over to explore Banteay Samre temple, located within the vast Angkor Archaeological Park. This temple is special because it has very well-kept carvings and old structures that are amazing to see.

In the afternoon, get ready for a change of scenery at Tonle Sap Lake. You’ll go to Kampong Phluk Floating Village. This place is unique because the whole village is built on stilts over the water. Here, you can see how people have their homes, schools, and even shops all floating on the lake. It’s a great way to understand how some Cambodians live in harmony with nature.

Day 5: Phnom Penh Highlights

Our tour starts at the sad place called the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek. This place helps us remember the terrible things done by the Khmer Rouge. After that, we go to the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum. This used to be a prison where many people were kept and hurt. Walking through it shows us how hard those times were.

In the afternoon, we visit the beautiful Silver Pagoda inside the Royal Palace. You’ll see its amazing silver floor and a very special golden Buddha decorated with diamonds. Then, we go up to Wat Phnom temple. It’s on a hill, so you can see all around the city from there.

At 5 pm, we take a calm boat ride on the Mekong Rivers to watch the sunset. It’s a beautiful way to see the city lights and the sky changing colors. Plus, you can enjoy as much beer and soda water as you like on the boat.
