Begin in Luoyang, relaxing after your journey and soaking in the historic atmosphere. On the second day, visit the legendary Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng—birthplace of Zen Buddhism and Shaolin Kung Fu. Witness a mesmerizing martial arts performance, explore the tranquil Pagoda Forest, and even enjoy an immersive Kung Fu learning experience yourself!
Conclude your adventure with the magnificent Longmen Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its thousands of intricate Buddha statues and stone carvings. Stroll through ancient streets in Luoyang and discover a unique blend of history, culture, and spirituality—all with the guidance of expert local guides and the comfort of quality accommodations.
Arrive in Luoyang by high-speed train or flight. Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel in Luoyang city center. Check into your hotel and relax after your journey. You may explore the local area and enjoy a leisurely evening in Luoyang.

– Visit the Shaolin Temple Scenic Area, which includes the Shaolin Temple, the Pagoda Forest, and a martial arts performance.
**Shaolin Temple**: Explore the birthplace of Zen Buddhism and Shaolin Kung Fu, known for its rich history and cultural significance.
**Pagoda Forest**: Discover the largest pagoda forest in China, with ancient stone pagodas that date back to different dynasties.
**Martial Arts Performance**: Witness an impressive Shaolin Kung Fu show at 10:30 AM or 11:30 AM (two shows available, each lasting 30 minutes).
**Morning**:
– Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
– Visit the Longmen Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its thousands of Buddha statues and intricate carvings. Explore the caves and marvel at the stunning artistry that spans from the Northern Wei to the Tang Dynasties.

Dawei | Tour guide / operator
Dawei is a Tibetan Buddhist, and comes from the most north edge of the Tibetan plateau in Qinghai province, Western China. He has travelled as a tour leader to many South Asian countries such as India, Bhutan and also nearly the entire country of China. He focuse especially on guiding in Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan, Ningxia provinces and Tibetan regions. The activities of these various tour groups have included adopting family, horse racing, hiking, bird watching, cycling, camping, overseas students, cultural and religious sightseeing.
Andrew | Touir guide / operator
Andrew was born and grew up in a small village of Zhangjiajie, Hunan. From 2009-2012 he works for royal Caribbean International cruise as an onboard guest services officer. After that, he dedicates his life/time to guiding and operating tours in Zhangjiajie and around. As a native person, he knows all the corner of the scenic area, such as good restaurants, souvenir shops and cultures. He is very experienced and super flexible, he knows how to avoid the crowds and take advantage of the weather and offer the best travel experience to customers, all you need to do is just relax and enjoy!
