Day 1: Chengdu Arrival
Welcome to Chengdu! Upon your arrival at the airport, you will proceed to your prearranged hotel independently. Rest and relax after your flight journey, as tomorrow morning your tour guide and driver will greet you at your hotel to start the exploration.
Day 2: Leshan Giant Buddha and Huanglongxi Ancient Town
After breakfast, we’ll set out for an excursion to the awe-inspiring Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. Marvel at the sheer magnitude of this ancient stone sculpture, carved into the cliffs overlooking the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu, and Qingyi rivers. You’ll have the opportunity to climb the stairs to the Buddha’s feet and admire breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
After exploring the Giant Buddha, we will visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town. Enjoy a leisurely stroll by the picturesque waterways before returning to Chengdu in the evening.
Day 3: Chengdu Panda Base, Wenshu Temple, People's Park, Departure
On our final day in Chengdu, we’ll begin with a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Learn about panda conservation efforts and gain insight into the daily lives of these adorable creatures as you explore the bamboo-shaded enclosures.
Next, we’ll visit Wenshu Monastery, one of the oldest and most revered Buddhist temples in Chengdu. Surrounding the monastery, you’ll find quaint antique stores offering unique treasures waiting to be discovered.
Afterward, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through People’s Park, a popular recreational area frequented by locals.
Finally, transfer to the airport for your departure, marking the end of our Chengdu adventure.

He focuse especially on guiding in Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan, Ningxia provinces and Tibetan regions. Andrew was born and grew up in a small village of Zhangjiajie, Hunan. From 2009-2012 he works for royal Caribbean International cruise as an onboard guest services officer. After that, he dedicates his life/time to guiding and operating tours in Zhangjiajie and around.
