Begin your journey in vibrant Chengdu, famous for its relaxed lifestyle and incredible cuisine. Start with a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, where you’ll get up close with adorable giant pandas and learn about their conservation.
Continue your adventure with an excursion to the majestic Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest stone Buddha in the world. Marvel at this ancient monument carved into the cliff side and admire the stunning views over the confluence of three rivers.
Stroll through the charming Huanglongxi Ancient Town, where traditional architecture and tranquil waterways transport you back in time.
Experience Chengdu’s spiritual side at the historic Wenshu Temple, surrounded by antique shops and peaceful courtyards, and savor the local atmosphere in People’s Park, a favorite spot for locals to relax and socialize.

Welcome to Chengdu! Upon your arrival at the airport, you will proceed to your prearranged hotel independently. Rest and relax after your flight journey, as tomorrow morning your tour guide and driver will greet you at your hotel to start the exploration.
After breakfast, we’ll set out for an excursion to the awe-inspiring Leshan Giant Buddha, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. Marvel at the sheer magnitude of this ancient stone sculpture, carved into the cliffs overlooking the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu, and Qingyi rivers. You’ll have the opportunity to climb the stairs to the Buddha’s feet and admire breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
After exploring the Giant Buddha, we will visit Huanglongxi Ancient Town. Enjoy a leisurely stroll by the picturesque waterways before returning to Chengdu in the evening.
On our final day in Chengdu, we’ll begin with a visit to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. Learn about panda conservation efforts and gain insight into the daily lives of these adorable creatures as you explore the bamboo-shaded enclosures.
Next, we’ll visit Wenshu Monastery, one of the oldest and most revered Buddhist temples in Chengdu. Surrounding the monastery, you’ll find quaint antique stores offering unique treasures waiting to be discovered.
Afterward, we’ll take a leisurely stroll through People’s Park, a popular recreational area frequented by locals.
Finally, transfer to the airport for your departure, marking the end of our Chengdu adventure.

Dawei is a Tibetan Buddhist, and comes from the most north edge of the Tibetan plateau in Qinghai province, Western China. He has travelled as a tour leader to many South Asian countries such as India, Bhutan and also nearly the entire country of China. He focuse especially on guiding in Qinghai, Gansu, Sichuan, Ningxia provinces and Tibetan regions. The activities of these various tour groups have included adopting family, horse racing, hiking, bird watching, cycling, camping, overseas students, cultural and religious sightseeing.

Andrew was born and grew up in a small village of Zhangjiajie, Hunan. From 2009-2012 he works for royal Caribbean International cruise as an onboard guest services officer. After that, he dedicates his life/time to guiding and operating tours in Zhangjiajie and around. As a native person, he knows all the corner of the scenic area, such as good restaurants, souvenir shops and cultures. He is very experienced and super flexible, he knows how to avoid the crowds and take advantage of the weather and offer the best travel experience to customers, all you need to do is just relax and enjoy!
